CCC Life Groups
Life Groups are the heartbeat of Coryell Community Church
CCC offers three distinct types of Life Groups:
Growth Groups: designed for people to get together in a safe and comfortable environment where great friendships can be established, God's Word can be studied, and open discussion is the norm. Meeting typically in someone's home, a facilitator guides the group through Scripture, a Christian book, or a DVD study.
A fair amount of food is consumed in some growth groups, and usually you will find six to fifteen people together for a couple of hours. It can be spelled: F-U-N!
Growth Groups are open for couples or just men, just ladies, and some have both married and single folks.
Bible Studies: a bit more structured than the Growth Groups. These studies are most often an hour in length. They lean more toward having a teacher or a video teaching.
Some of these groups meet weekly, during the lunch hour, at the church.
Special Interest Groups: typically include a brief devotional and prayer time. Then a common interest is pursued.
It could be anything from an Art class to a Zumba class! Fishing, biking, hiking, cooking, grilling, photography, sewing, scrapbooking, or you name it could qualify for a great Special Interest Life Group.
